Company Overview and Business Experience: This agency was incorporated in 1994 as a Colorado non-profit child placement agency by the state of Colorado, Child Care Division, Department of Human Services.
Since 1994, Maple Star has provided treatment foster care for youth of all ages, ethnicities, and geographic locations in Colorado. In August, 2005, Maple Star became affiliated with Providence Service Corporation. Providence is dedicated to ensuring that all clients have access to professional community-based care, proven treatment methods and comprehensive service planning. Their primary services are varied, and they continually create new programs in response to identified needs in a particular area. The common thread is the provision of counseling and support services in home- and community-based settings and the emphasis of the strengths and uniqueness of each youth and family. All services are offered by trained therapists and paraprofessionals under the direct supervision of licensed clinicians.
