Maple Star Nevada offers individual and family therapy, day treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and basic skills services to children, adolescents, and adults in the Las Vegas community.
Maple Star Nevada conducts comprehensive Psychosocial Mental Health Assessments by Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Registered Interns to promote emotional well-being. Issues addressed in therapy may include grief and loss, personal trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, managing obsessive thoughts and other issues related to personal growth and emotional adjustment.
Psychosocial Mental Health Assessments are used to evaluate a person referred for mental health treatment because of problems at school, work, or home. For example, a mental health assessment may be used to find out if a someone has a learning disability or behavior disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), conduct disorder (CD), or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
