Levels of Care:

Maple Star Nevada has 5 separate levels of care. For more information on each, click on levels below:

Emergency Shelter Care

The purpose of this program is to provide Clark County Family and Youth Services the ability to access family-based care for children removed from their biological families due to abuse or neglect within twenty-four hours. The Maple Star Emergency Shelter Program is designed to provide short term, high quality, professional care to abandoned, abused, and neglected children from newborn to four years.

Level I

Maple Star's Level I Family Based Residential Care program provides 24 hour residential care in the home of treatment parents. The program is organized into units containing four to six homes and a full time licensed social worker, who provides consultation and monitors the work of treatment parents.

Level II

Maple Star's Level II Family Based Residential Care program provides 24 hour residential care in the home of treatment parents. The program is organized into units containing four to six homes and a full time licensed social worker, who provides consultation and monitors the work of treatment parents.

Therapeutic Foster Care

Maple Star's Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides family care. Family care is 24 hour residential care provided in the home of treatment parents. The TFC program is organized into units containing approximately eight family care homes and a full time licensed social worker, who provides consultation and monitors the work of treatment parents.

Level III Group Home Care

Maple Star's Level III Family Based Residential Care program provides 24 hour residential care in the home of treatment parents. The program is organized into units containing four to six homes and a full time licensed social worker, who provides consultation and monitors the work of treatment parents.
