The Maple Star Clinical Services Department is committed to providing culturally competent, affordable, and client centered mental health care services. Our therapeutic services are provided in-home, in-office, and in multiple community and outpatient settings. Clinical services are provided by our multi-disciplinary team of professionals who are dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults. Our primary goal is to provide a strengths-based approach to treatment and to promote healthy individual and family functioning.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Services are rehabilitative mental health interventions designed to reduce problematic behaviors and/or ways of thinking.

Basic Skills Training
Basic Skills Training (BST) services are rehabilitative mental health interventions designed to reduce impairments in daily living and to restore clients to their highest level of functioning.

- · Organization and Time Management Skills
- · Transitional Living Skills
Day Treatment Program
Day Treatment Programs are designed to help engage clients with their peers in a structured setting, to help promote a variety of life skills. Day Treatment Programs are provided in the Maple Star office. Day Treatment Programs consist of innovative and interactive approaches to teaching life skills.
Day Treatment Programs focus on:

- · Presenting alternatives to Delinquent behaviour patterns
- · Parenting Techniques
Foster Care
Maple Star provides foster care for sibling groups of 3 or more, short term shelter foster care, and therapeutic foster care for youth with special behavioural needs. Clients placed in Maple Star foster homes are typically eligible to receive the full array of community- based mental health services provided by Maple Star.
